Worship Team

The worship team leads worship during Sunday services. Because this role directly leads the congregation, musicians and vocalists go through an evaluation process before joining the team. Team members are expected to come prepared, attend Thursday night rehearsals, arrive early for setup and run-throughs, and serve during both Sunday morning services.

Tech Team

The tech team supports worship by running slides, lighting, audio, and broadcast during services. No prior experience is required for most roles—we will train volunteers. For audio engineers, previous experience and a good ear for shaping sound is helpful. Tech team members attend Thursday rehearsals, must arrive early on Sundays for rehearsal, and serve during both Sunday services.

Section Hosts

Section hosts aim to connect with first-time guests and others in the worship center before and after Sunday services to create a welcoming, friendly environment. We ask that section hosts be in the worship center 15 minutes before the service starts. You can serve in this role at one or both of our 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM services.

Café Hosts

Café hosts offer guests a warm greeting so we can point them to Jesus through our hospitality! We prepare coffee and other refreshments as needed, initiating conversation and encouragement. We clean up the café area after services and prepare for the next use. First service café hosts arrive by 8:00 AM for setup. Second service café hosts arrive at 10:15 AM and stay until 11:30 or later if snacks are served.

LSM Small Group Leaders

Small group leaders facilitate a group where students can build friendships and connect with Jesus. Leaders will receive discussion guides and tools to help them lead students, and they will partner with the Student Minister to identify those ready to take the next steps to grow in their faith. This ministry requires attending the LSM Wednesday evening program (6:20-8:40 PM), attending the LSM Leader training (approximately one per semester), and completing Basic Training, a background check, and a Family Ministry Application.

LSM Hospitality Team

Our student hospitality team includes a range of roles such as café assistants, guest process leaders, greeters, and gym supervisors. The role of these individuals is to support the Wednesday LSM program and help identify new students. Serving in this ministry means you are committed to attending at least one LSM per month (6:20-8:40 PM) and completing Basic Training, a background check, and a Family Ministry Application.

• Hear how God is moving globally.

About TCM
Welcome to Austria and, more specifically, to beautiful Haus Edelweiss, home of TCM International! TCM’s mission is to develop Christian leaders for significant service through higher learning, and is staffed with professors who train these leaders from around the world, equipping them to make an impact in their home countries and regions. TCM’s vision is that every nation will have effective leaders of disciple-making movements impacting their churches, cultures, and countries for Christ.

Legacy began supporting TCM in the early 1970’s, making them our longest Global Missions partnership! Legacy supports TCM both financially and through service. Countless Legacy members have served at TCM, allowing the students and professors to focus on growing God’s kingdom through the educational opportunities at TCM. While serving at TCM, short term mission trip members stay busy as part of the kitchen crew, hospitality crew, or grounds crew. Most rewarding, however, is the opportunity to build relationships and pray with the students at TCM.

SYMBIS: Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts

symbis premarital counseling | offered by Legacy christian church

Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS) is a comprehensive marriage program specifically for couples. Designed by Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott, who have spent 25 years researching marriage, SYMBIS is used by counselors and churches worldwide.

With the help of a certified SYMBIS facilitator, couples take an assessment, and then walk through their assessment results and SYMBIS materials with their facilitator to help them apply what they learn and enjoy intimate discussions along the way.

This fee for SYMBIS is $60, which will cover the SYMBIS assessment, the SYMBIS book, and a separate workbook for each individual. After completing the form, couples can expect to be contacted by their counseling facilitator, who will help you get started with the SYMBIS assessment. From there, you will be able to schedule and plan counseling meetings together.

Make your marriage everything it is meant to be!
