WHAT THEY DO: A Christian organization assisting international students and scholars adjust to life in the US and promoting cross-cultural friendships.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Legacy has a Life Group that consists of Legacy members and international students and scholars. These cross-cultural friendships often allow them to share the love of Jesus with the next generation of world leaders.
WHAT THEY DO: A Christian boarding school that heals teens, restores families, and transforms communities. We believe, through our ministry, we can be God’s instruments in reclaiming the stories of teenagers from trauma to triumph.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Tutor in the on-campus school (especially math); teach art, music, PE, culinary arts, or personal finance; become a one-on-one mentor; join the prayer team; assist with picking up groceries, unpacking them, and putting them away; help with facility and grounds work; assist with administrative tasks.
WHAT THEY DO: KU Campus Christians is a non-denominational ministry at KU striving to make disciples who love and follow Jesus Christ.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Provide a meal on a Monday night at The Gathering; assist with maintenance and grounds work on workdays; provide rides for international students to and from the airport; provide a Holiday Home for international students not returning home during winter break; join KUCC students on spring break missions trips.
WHAT THEY DO: Rosehill Elementary is a Title 1 school that is a neighbor to Legacy’s Overland Park Campus. We have joined with their Community Partnership Team to support and encourage staff and students.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Individuals can work in either an educational support role or as a mentor with students at a frequency of their choice through the Shawnee Mission MVP Program; fill in the volunteer gaps as needed for Rosehill school events; give to Legacy’s school supply drive each July; give to other staff blessing opportunities; give to Legacy’s Blessing Tree during the Christmas season to support families in need; join in the occasional service project.
WHAT THEY DO: The Olathe Campus partners with Olathe South High School to encourage staff and students.

WHAT THEY DO: Help KC’s homeless men and women experience freedom from the past and hope for the future through the love of Jesus Christ.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Individuals and groups can help prepare and serve at holiday and special events, prepare and serve meals, work on special projects, assist at the front desk, assist with day-to-day tasks, lead a chapel service, and more.
WHAT THEY DO: The Single Mom KC calls single moms to join us in community by providing resources and equipping their family to be restored into a better story.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Serve at monthly meetings by greeting, helping with registration, serving in childcare or children’s programming, or serving dinner. Volunteer at the Clothed with Dignity Boutique, a specialty boutique for single moms. Become a Hope Ambassador to walk alongside moms who are in a season of crisis. Volunteer at occasional Victim to Victorious workshops.
WHAT THEY DO: Putting God’s love into action by extending help through hope. Many people cannot open their hearts to Christ until the weight of their physical needs has been lifted. We look for opportunities to have meaningful conversations that can lead to spiritual conversations. We have a heart that loves Jesus Christ and one that genuinely cares about the needs of others.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Sort donations, pack food bags, help with the Food Coop, help the warehouse manager, help deliver furniture, collect food for the Backsnack Program, collect food for those living on the street, bake breakfast items for the Coffee Zone, collect diapers, and much more!
WHAT THEY DO: It is the mission of Joy Meadows to provide families with community support, housing, and resources so that children impacted by foster care can find stability, healing, and joy.
WHAT YOU CAN DO: Individual volunteers can become mentors, work in the garden and orchard, assist with maintenance and grounds work, assist in the Clothing Closet, and assist with administrative tasks. Groups can adopt a nature trail to maintain, clear small trees and brush, build fences, construct “natural landscape” playground items, and assist with barn maintenance.
