KIDS CAMP 2024
July 21-23

For Kingdom! For Glory! There is a greater purpose for all kids and it entails knowing the love and glory of God! This year, kids will explore how living for God’s glory has long-lasting, fulfilling impacts! The theme verse is Hebrews 12:1:  “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”

Camp will be at Youthfront where all 2nd-5th graders will experience interactive Bible stories, fun games, a snack shack, and a lake fully equipped with a blob, water activities, and lifeguards!

Legacy Family Memory Work Challenge

2024 Family Memory Work

LEGACY KIDS MEMORY WORK CHALLENGE

Family Kids Memory Work Challenge

We are really excited about our 2024 Legacy Family Memory Work Challenge and are praying this has a huge impact on your families’ lives. Feel free to modify/shorten verses or add/subtract the adjacent verses to make more/less of a challenge. We would love for the WHOLE Family to do this together!

  • Memory Work Challenge:  One foundational memory verse has been provided each MONTH for your child(ren) to focus on.  For 4-5 weeks Legacy Preschool through 5th Grade children will be working on this chosen verse in their classrooms and at home.  Our hope is that at the end of 2024 whole families will have 12 verses committed to memory and hidden in their hearts.
  • How it Works: Legacy Kids will be receiving a card with a year of verses to keep in their Bibles, in the car or at home. You can find an electronic copy above. We will encourage our kids to BUILD on top of their verses each month, not just memorize a verse one month and forget it the next. To encourage this, each campus will offer a fun Family Celebration at the end of the year!
  • Memory Challenge Prizes:  Everyone likes to be rewarded, especially kids!  Each of our campuses will have a unique way to allow kids to earn prizes at least monthly for their hard work of committing these verses to memory. Some rewards might be class parties/incentives, treasure box prizes and/or candy!

Values of Legacy Moms

  1. We will love and accept each other through genuine, authentic friendships. Proverbs 27:17 “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”

  2. We will support and encourage one another by always pointing to Biblical TRUTH. 1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Encourage one another and build each other up.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

  3. We will help one another through selfless service. Mark 10:45 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”

  4. We will challenge one another to be accountable for spiritual growth.  2 Peter 1:5-8 “For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
