Level 2 Leader Training
Legacy’s Level 2 Leader Training is an in-depth course of study designed for church staff and lay leaders currently leading, shepherding, and discipling others via a Legacy Life Group or Ministry Team. The instruction will focus on Legacy’s doctrinal, theological, and historical foundations, along with some practical ministry skills, which spiritual leaders need to help Legacy fulfil here calling to be a Biblical Community living the Word. The training will be done together with a committed cohort of other leaders. Along with attending sessions, cohort members will be expected to do a minimal amount of pre-session reading and share in class discussions. Classes are tentatively scheduled on various Sunday evenings from 8:00-9:30 PM via Zoom.

May 21 – Lesson 7 – God’s Plan for His Church: An Exegesis of Ephesians 4
June 4 – Lesson 8 – Legacy Staff Level Vision
June 18 – Lesson 9 – Definitions and Duties for Elders – An Exegesis of 1 Peter 5
July 16- Lesson 10 – Legacy White Paper on Church Membership
July 30 – Lesson 11 – Legacy White Paper on Baptism
August 6 – Lesson 12 – Legacy White Paper on Communion
August 20 – Lesson 13 – White Paper on Charismatic Controversies
August 27 – Lesson 14 – Legacy White Paper on Gray Areas
Sept 17 – Lesson 15 – White Paper on Divorce & Remarriage
Sept 24 – Lesson 16 – White Paper on Women’s Roles
October 1 – Lesson 17 – White Paper on Homosexuality and Gender Identity
Prerequisites: 1) Participants must have completed or be scheduled to complete Legacy’s Leader Orientation to register. 2) If you know you are unable to commit to at least twelve of these dates, please do not register. There will be other opportunities to participate at a later date.
