What is the Legacy Banquet?

Legacy’s Annual Banquet is a gathering of our campuses for a Kingdom celebration of all that God is doing in our church! Together, we come to the banquet table and share a meal, celebrate life change, lift our voices in worship to God, and look ahead to a vision of what God will do in Legacy. Accept God’s invitation to be a part of the story He is writing!

How do I update my reservation?

If you need to make changes to your banquet RSVP, submit a new RSVP and your reservation status will be updated.

What time do I arrive?

Check-in begins at 4:15pm and doors open at 4:30pm! Dinner will begin promptly at 5:00pm.

Is there a cost to attend?

There is no cost to attend the banquet.

What do I wear?

Most people will be dressed in business casual attire, but some choose to dress up a little for the occasion. Wear what is comfortable to you and come enjoy the evening!

How does seating work at the banquet?

While seating reservations are not accepted, you can arrive early the day of the banquet with your party and request to sit together. The Banquet Team does not guarantee any seating requests. Seating is typically by campus.

What parking is available?

All parking at the Overland Park Convention Center is free. A large lot is available on the north side of the building, and several covered parking spaces are available on the east side of the building.

Can you accommodate food allergies?

Legacy works very closely with the Overland Park Convention Center staff to accommodate the dietary needs of guests. If you have food allergies, please enter them while completing your online RSVP or email the Banquet Team for further assistance.

Are my children invited?

Legacy’s Annual Banquet is for Legacy’s adult members and visitors. Legacy offers limited childcare (infants – 5^th grade) at the Overland Park Campus for those who have made a reservation and are unable to secure their own childcare.

How do I reserve childcare for my family?

Please make your own childcare accommodations. If you are unable to find childcare, please complete the childcare section of the online RSVP form. Walkups are not allowed. For more information email Tiffany Butler.

I made a childcare reservation for my family. What else do I need to know about childcare?

Childcare is provided at the Overland Park Campus. Check-in begins at 4:00pm. For security, doors will be locked at 4:30pm. Infants – 2’s should bring a peanut-free sack dinner, two diapers, and a sippy cup labeled with the child’s name. A pizza dinner is provided for three-year-olds through 5th grade. Nursery/preschool may wear pajamas and bring a pillow and/or stuffed animal if desired. Please register for childcare by November 9.
