Welcome To Legacy Preschool

Legacy Preschool is a ministry of Legacy Christian Church and is pleased to join with parents in the education and development of their children. Legacy Preschool is designed to provide quality early-childhood education, using a curriculum that is guided by the teachings of the Bible, and striving for academic excellence. The love of God and age-appropriate Bible stories are the foundation of the curriculum. The curriculum also includes language development, motor skills, self-help and social awareness, music, kindergarten readiness, arts and crafts, science, manners, and creative play to support a child’s growing academic and social needs. Within all these skills we desire to instill a love for God and compassion for others.

PROGRAM & SCHEDULE INFORMATION

Legacy Preschool programs are designed to build a foundation for learning and growth through lessons, activities, and play. School days are structured to balance large motor movement, art, music, God’s World, and Bible stories as well as opportunities to learn through play. Most importantly our students will learn that Jesus Loves them. Fall sessions begin on the first Wednesday following Labor Day. We follow holidays, vacations and “snow days” observed by the Shawnee Mission School System.

Traditional and extended day programs are open to children who are three years of age through PreK. All students must be fully potty-trained (no diapers or pull-ups).

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE

& COST

Enrollment for Fall 2023 is now open. Tuition for the two-day program is $140 a month and the three-day program is $160 a month. Stay And Play is $70 for one day or $140 for two days. The non-refundable $75 enrollment fee and completed form will reserve a place for your child in our preschool. Please fill out the online enrollment form and fee payment to complete your enrollment. Stay N Play placement will be determined by preschool staff. The school is non-profit. All monies received are used in the operating expenses of the school and for the purchase of equipment and supplies for the school.
