We recommend using Youthfront’s online pre-loaded account instead of sending your student with cash! It’s fast & simple and, once you have an account, you are good to go!
To start, head to Youthfront’s website to create an account here: https://youthfront.com/account/
From there, you can create an account or log in from a previous year of camp–if you completed this step last year with us, please log in and access your student account. Load up your student account with money to be used in the snack shop.
See the attached PDF entitled, “Directions for Adding Camp Bucks” provided by Youthfront for full details & instructions. You may send your student with cash, but pre-loading a student account is the cleanest, safest, fastest option for providing your student with camp bucks for the week! We recommend $2-5 per day for snacks, with most items being $1-2 in the Snack Shop. Use the code “lclegacy”
Yes! Please add the names of your students requested roommates in registration.
Students will be assigned to a cabin that sleeps 16 students via bunk beds with mattresses. Community-style showers and toilets are in each cabin. Cabins all have central A/C. Bedding & towels for the pool and bathing are not provided, so pack accordingly!
Cabins will be by birth sex/gender, age group and campus. A minimum of two adult cabin leaders will be assigned to each cabin. All Legacy leaders are background checked and certified leaders through our Legacy Leadership certification process.
Food at Youthfront is excellent! Meals are buffet style, and offer lots of variety of student-friendly meals. If your student has a specific dietary restriction, please indicate in your registration, and we will notify Youthfront’s kitchen staff who will prepare specific meals according to your students specific needs.
Yes! Please make sure all snacks are re-sealable in order to keep our cabins clean, orderly and bug/animal free.
We will have a full-time nurse stationed at camp who will be accessible 24/7. We will be asking you turn in any prescription medication that you are concerned your student needs to be supervised with at registration, with detailed administration instructions at check in, or you can fill in the Health From ahead of time and bring it to check in. Please indicate clearly the dosage and administration instructions.
We will contact you immediately via phone, and have emergency vehicles and staff in place of a medical emergency.
Yes! Please send your student with personal sunscreen and bug spray. There are plenty of trees and tall grass surrounding camp, so we encourage students to be using bug spray every day while at camp. Please bring DEET-FREE bug spray to be considerate of students with allergies.
