April 18 | Open 10:00am - 8:00 PM | At all legacy campuses
The prayer walk is a self-paced “walk” through the last days before Jesus’ crucifixion, death, and burial. A devotional prayer guide (available in a kids version, too!) will direct you through Scripture reading and personal journal responses. You’ll mentally “walk” through the text and physically travel to corresponding stations placed around the perimeter of the worship center for reading, reflection, and personal prayer.
As participants physically move from station to station, they are guided through key events of Jesus’ final hours, from his agonizing prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane to his ultimate sacrifice on the cross. At each station, individuals are encouraged to pause, reflect, and engage in prayer, allowing the significance of each moment to resonate deeply within their hearts and minds.
This will prepare your hearts and minds for Resurrection Sunday’s celebration of Christ’s victory over death!
